We Support Our Troops
Red Fridays
Ask a uniformed member of the U.S. Military, "What can I do to make things better for you?"

You will likely receive in reply, "We need your support and prayers."

You can show your support of the troops by example: wear some thing RED every Friday.
Americans who support the troops used to be called the "silent majority". They are no longer silent. They are
individually demonstrating support for the troops. They are not organized, boisterous or over-bearing. They get
little, if any, news media coverage on TV or in newspapers to reflect their message or opinions.
Many Americans simply want a way to show that the vast majority of Americans support their troops. The idea of
civilians showing solidarity and support for the troops with dignity and respect will happen every Friday and
continue each and every Friday until the troops come home, sending a quiet but deafening message.

By word of mouth and example every Friday --- Americans can make the United States a SEA OF RED, much like
fans support their team at a homecoming football game. If every individual who supports the troops will share
this with acquaintances, co-workers, friends and family, it will not be long before the USA is covered in RED ON
FRIDAY to let our uniformed military members know that the once "silent majority" is in full support of the troops.

WE LIVE IN THE HOME OF THE FREE, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE!

Be a part of RED FRIDAY...Support the troops!
Thank Our Troops
Go to www.letssaythanks.com  This is a great site where  you can pick out a “Thank You” card and Xerox will
print it and then it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq.  You cannot pick out who gets it but it
will go to some member of the Armed Services.

This is another way for us to bless those who have given so much.  It doesn’t cost a thing – just a few moments
of your time.  Wouldn't’t it be great if the soldiers receive a bunch of these.  Whether you are for or against the
war, our guys and gals over there need the encouragement.

Cool Scarves for the Soldiers
Troops that are deployed to the Middle East often face hot temperatures of 130 degrees and higher. Troops
wear them like ties around their necks, which gives them a feeling of a cool wet cloth on the back of their necks.

A COOL SCARF is a strip of cotton woven fabric that has been filled nontoxic polyacrylamide granules (crystals)
concealed in the casing of the scarf. When the scarf is soaked in water for 15-30 minutes, the granules absorb
the water, expand 400 times, and turn into a crystalline gel. The cotton fabric absorbs water from the gel, and
then the water evaporates for a cooling effect. Scarves stay cool and moist for hours due to the
polyacrylamide's water-retaining properties. When the scarves are allowed to dry, the gel returns to crystal form.

Cool Scarf helps Lowers body temperature by cooling the carotid arteries in the neck.

- Stays cool 2-3 days, without refrigeration.
- Rotate periodically to maximize cooling effect.
- Reduces risk of heat stroke.
- Easy to re-activate again and again.
- Hand washable.
- Beige camouflage print
- Outer fabric made of 100% cotton
